A native of Pennsylvania, Dr. Robyn K. Guinto earned her bachelor's degree in Biology with a minor in Healthcare Management from Temple University in Philadelphia. She then continued her education at Drexel College of Medicine, where she earned her medical degree. Following medical school, Dr. Guinto completed a General Surgery residency at Jersey Shore University Medical Center in Neptune, NJ, where she served as Chief Resident. Her training culminated in a Vascular and Endovascular Surgery fellowship at the prestigious University of Vermont Medical Center in Burlington, VT.
Throughout her academic career, Dr. Guinto contributed to various clinical research projects, authoring and co-authoring several peer-reviewed articles. Her research has focused on emergency management of splenic injuries, vascular interventions, and surgical mortality, with publications appearing in journals such as The American Surgeon and Journal of Vascular Surgery. Dr. Guinto is a board-certified General Surgeon by the American Board of Surgery.
